“This place is 5 stars because of the facilities and the people. The pool is heated and I believe the largest one I’ve ever seen in 57 years! The breakfast buffet rocks and Reyna is absolutely wonderful lady and server. She took excellent care of us. The pool service is outstanding and want to give a shout out to Carlos, he was the best and bent over backwards taking care of us. We had lunch in the bar and Victor was our waiter on several days and he was outstanding. I believe the Marriott takes good care of their people here. They ALL praised their employer! In return, the Marriott is lucky to have these people working for them. These 3 I mentioned defined hard work and true service! I am sure the rest of the team is just as good, but these 3 were special to us. This is our 3rd time back to the Marriott and we love this place and will definitely be back.”

“Stayed here for 4 nights for a work retreat, the views are amazing, the rooms were comfortable and quiet, AC in the rooms was great. All the staff were super kind. Very close to the airport so it's a short taxi ride ($18 US). I am vegetarian and there were very limited veg options on the menus and sometimes it was a struggle to get the staff to understand custom requests for veg items, but they really tried. All inclusive is amazing, but for some reason they obsessively make you sign checks (often separate checks for drinks and food) and especially with a large group this was incredibly difficult sometimes, just seems like there are lots of operational improvements that could be made (like swiping a card). Almost no one was swimming at the beach because I think crocodiles? But the pool has an amazing view of the beach anyway. Loved tandem and solo kayaking!!!!”
