“Whenever I come to Charlotte (which is often) this hotel is my go-to. I’ve been a fan of this Tru Hilton hotel for a couple of years now. However, I was highly disappointed in the cleanliness and quality of the place. The quality has really gone down significantly. When I checked into my room, there was a large bug on the wall and red stains on the floor. I went back downstairs and notified the front desk about what I saw. They offered me another room. I went to the new room and saw the same bug but it was on a different side of the wall. I took a picture and I went BACK downstairs and showed the front desk. She seemed very nonchalant about the situation. She offered me another room. This room was okay but then I woke up around 430a this morning and saw a roach in the bathroom. So I am now completely done with this place. I will definitely find somewhere else to stay. If you’re not a fan of bugs and would actually like to be comfortable during your stay, I would suggest finding a different hotel.”

“The hotel breakfast was absolutely awful. Aww got downstairs at around 8:30 (ends at 9:30) and they had next to nothing left. I’m gluten free and the only thing I could eat was the singular yogurt that was left and some cereal, which we had to buy milk for because there was none. They didn’t even have forks and everyone there hated working there and didn’t care. Won’t be staying here again.”
