“Like others who have left reviews, I agree that the hotel is dated. The good news is Marriott is renovating as I write this and while we were told the renovations would be occurring during our stay, they did not tell us the work would
be happening directly above our room. Staying in the room from 9-7 is impossible because of the noise. It is intolerable.
Housekeeping is non-existent and don’t even think about turn down service or even a quick wipe down. Towels are a commodity and requesting them requires 2 hours notice. The activities and outside services are clean and well manicured. The beach is beautiful but be prepared to pay if you want to sit on chair.
All in all, Marriott should not have put guests in this building or they should have been more transparent and gave guests more options or discounts.
The ultimate irony here is they had the audacity to try to sell us a timeshare.”

“Can't get a hold of the hotel at all if you need to ask questions about a reservation. The 1-800# agents were rude and when I asked the agent how to get a hold of the hotel (to ask about the pool area and check-in), the agent told me I wouldn't be able to, but then couldn't answer my questions.
The hotel itself was a bit outdated and the water that came out of the tub in the bathroom was yellow 🤢 The location was beautiful and right on the beach with a private path straight into the sand.
EVERYTHING was key-card entry! While it made us feel safe, but also super annoying when carrying luggage in the elevators, due to needing a key card to go to ANY individual floor.
During snow-bird season, it's filled with seniors/families staying at their timeshares for extended periods of time, which meant a lot of the things close early and the common areas were empty at night.
We ate at the poolside bar and grill and the gentleman working were SUPER sweet and accommodating. Food was just regular (pricey) bar food, but great for a quick meal.
10 min before checkout, I wasn't feeling well, I called the front desk and asked if we could checkout 15 min late so I didn't have to rush. The front desk just said "no" and that they were fully booked so we had to be out immediately- 2 min later housekeeping was at the door so we had to hurry. Housekeeping seemed very understanding which was appreciated.
I feel like for the price, you are absolutely paying for the amenities and location, so if your only staying 1 or 2 nights, don't waste your time as there are cheaper hotels in the area with better service (but less amenities).”

We went on a weekend visit. The rooms were nice and easily accessible. Krystal at the concierge desk was always helpful and can point you to the right place depending on your wants or needs.
Easy beach access. There is a beach service willing to rent you beach chairs for $15 an hour; $60/ day or $100 for two days. I suggest going to Wal-Mart and buying your own chairs for $15 each with an umbrella for $40 and leaving it for the next guy
There is no beach food/drink service, so you will need to go back and forth from the pool area to the beach. Food is typical bar food
The people were great and welcoming. We had some great conversations about politics and Marriott Vacation Club programs. I enjoyed their insights, and we may have had differing opinions, but we left friends.
We love to go to different locations when we vacation. But if we had the chance, we would go back.

Lied and said our room sleeps 8 when there are only 2 beds. I'm not sure how Marriott thinks we are sleeping but we don't go that way. Guess I'm not woke enough for their rooms. Totally misleading description. Front desk not helpful at all. Rooms smaller than what we have stayed in past years in this exact resort. Probably shrunk the rooms to get more lock off units. Not sure why a room that sleeps 8 also only has 6 of everything like plates, bowls, and mugs. Can Marriott not spring for 2 more of each? Also, love the amazing view of the parking lot my room has on all sides. Reminds me of a nice low grade shopping mall. The beds feel like a slab of concrete with completely flat pillows. Wish I had an air mattress to sleep on. Disappointing. Dont stay here. I won't be back

Such a lovely, well kept beach resort that has used green landscaping to keep out prying eyes and noise from beach goers. Beautiful beach views available from some rooms while others overlook the town. A peaceful little beach town that is well maintained and easily walked. The amenities are plentiful and enjoyable. Pool, sauna, gym, volleyball and easy access to the beach!
